Description

New Old Stock Plate Current Tested Soviet 6P3S (6L6GC)

* A note on the 6P3S as a 6L6GC substitute *
There are various datasheets floating around that show varying specifications on these for plate voltages, wattage output, etc. Technically, they are not direct equivalents but are commonly used as substitutes in many 6L6GC circuits - this is why we list them as the 6P3S / 6L6GC. The ability to use them in a 6L6GC socket is going to depend heavily on the specific circuit/amplifier you are looking to install them into. Your mileage may vary depending on the amp. If you are not sure if your amplifier can successfully run the tubes, we highly recommend reaching out to a tech with the amp's specs before purchase or installation.

These vintage Russian power tubes are a steal. As sweet tubes are essentially an older version of the modern Sovtek tube, they were made in the Reflektor factory using the same materials and data sheets.

Why pay for the name? These are the same quality as new production tubes but with  a vintage flavor.

These come with generic white boxes. They were bulk-packed and never came with a box but we guarantee that they are true NOS.

    I use these in my Ampeg Reverb Rocket Re-issue 212. I love these in there. They sound awesome! Been using them for 10 years now. I got them originally from a fellow guitarist who had got them from an old PA system inventory. They were marked Westinghouse and knew they were not but I knew they were old since the place where the PA system was located lay dormant for years. When I ordered these tubes from Viva I saw that they were identical and thus solved the mystery of where they really came from. I believe they are old tubes but like I said sound great. Way better than Sovtek and the Groove Tubes that came with the amp. Try some!
