A beautiful NOS NIB matched pair of vintage 80's Soviet era Russian 6P6S / 6V6GT vacuum tubes. The 6P6S is just the Russian designation for the 6V6 and the two types are identical. These are beautiful tubes in the original box and matched by Gm AND Plate Current on a calibrated Triplett 3444 tube tester. These were made in the famous Reflektor plant which is the plant that is now owned by Sovtek who uses the same equipment and materials, so these are essentially Sovteks before the company existed. OTK quality stamps.

Excellent replacement for 6V6 tubes
I bought these to do some experimentation with my vintage Magnavox 88-02 amplifier. The RCA tubes in the amp worked but I figured for the price it wouldn't hurt to try these Soviet 6P6S tubes. The difference was immediately noticeable in a good way. The sound was more detailed and the soundstage was not only larger but snapped into clearer focus. More music came from around the speakers and not just from the speakers. Guitars, vocals, synths, drums, bass, and brass instruments gained a much more live sound and less like a recording. For what these tubes did to our Magnavox amp I'd say they were a bargain. I wouldn't for a moment hesitate to buy more.
