Matched Quad of hand-tested Genalex Gold Lion KT88 Power Vacuum Tubes
These Gold Lion KT88s are as close to the original Genalex KT88s as you could possibly get. Made in Russia, they look identical to the originals down to the plate structure. They even have gold plated grids, carbonized screen grids, and tri-alloy plates. It's hard to get any higher quality in any tube than what the Genalex KT88 has to offer. If you're looking for that authentically vintage sound even in your new production tubes, this is what you are after.

Sounded better immediately, after 30 hours sound stage grew taller, and wider, smaller instruments became more obvious, drum stick strikes sound more realistic, they are fun!

Genalex Gold Lion KT-88
I put a set of four of these in a Rogue Audio ST-100 amp replacing a set of Tung-Sol KT-120 tubes. The Tung-Sol tubes have a bigger sound but, are less natural sounding, They come on strong. The Gold Lion KT-88 tubes are more balanced, more musical, more natural, more relaxed sounding. They have more ease and flow. All of these characteristics are what I'm tailoring the system to be. Less analytical and more musical. I'm happy with these tubes.

Big fan of these tubes, a nice, wide, and airy sound in the Euforia Evo. Shipping was fast! VivaTubes support is also helpful and kind. Would recommend these tubes as well as the shop.

Probably the best KT88 tubes out there
I have tried the Psvane KT-88-T MK II in my Willsenton R8 and it is superior to the supplied Willsenton KT88 tubes. The Gold Lion is a better sounding tube, more musical and with better imaging and bass than both tubes. The prices on these tubes has gone up since the Ukraine-Russo war and is occasionally out of stock. But if it is available, this is the one to get. On a side note, while I like this KT88, I am somewhat partial to the EL34 tube. It is warmer sounding with a smoother top end but the KT88 has tighter bass and a "hotter" treble.

They sound awesome!
Installed on a Yaqin 100b amp that came with Psvane kt88 Gold Lion kt-88: Wide stage, very clear, plenty of power they just made all my music sound better, the vocals sound so good, I can now hear details I didn't hear before. I just hope I can at least get two years out of them.... If so I will purchase again for sure.
