New Vintage Listings

Hi everyone,

In anticipation of a move of our shop to another location in the building we are in - coming soon - I was looking around our (fairly large) back stock of vintage and miscellaneous tubes. Running across a large quantity of 12AU7/12AU7As, I put a few on one of our Maxi Pre testers out of curiosity. Many, many of them tested very strong - comparable to new modern production tubes!

So, we're offering up some USA RCA and GE ones as singles and electrically matched pairs!

Note that the matching only goes as far as how they actually test - not other factors like internal construction, printing, date of manufacture, A variants or not, or cosmetic condition - but simply as to how they perform on the testers.

I did separate out the RCA Black Plates - most are the wide ladder plate variety but there are some narrow ladder ones in there as well.

Be aware that these are used, but when testing these I discarded any that wouldn't pass muster just as if they were new production or poorly performing vintage.

Along the way, too, I found a bunch of NOS NIB Sovtek 12AX7LP (not the LPS variety; no spiral filament) that we're offering, as well as some NIB NOS RCA Mexican-made 12AU7As. Quantities are pretty limited!

These listings will come and go as they sell out and we add more; check back here and there to see what's new.

You can check the listings out here.
